Introduction

Located about 60 kilometers from Islamabad, Murree is famous for its pleasant weather, green hills, pine forests, and breathtaking views. Every year, thousands of tourists visit Murree to escape the heat of cities and enjoy nature. This blog shares my traveling experience to Murree and highlights why it is a must-visit destination.

 

The Journey to Murree

Our journey started early in the morning from Islamabad. As we moved towards Murree, the scenery began to change dramatically. The busy city roads slowly turned into winding mountain paths surrounded by tall trees and foggy air. The weather became cooler, which made the journey even more enjoyable. The fresh breeze and scenic views made us forget the long drive.

 

Exploring Mall Road

Mall Road is the heart of Murree and the most crowded place for tourists. It is full of shops, restaurants, and hotels. We enjoyed walking on Mall Road, buying souvenirs, and tasting local street food like corn, fries, and pakoras. The lively environment and cool climate made the experience unforgettable.

Natural Beauty and Tourist Spots

Murree is rich in natural beauty. We visited popular tourist spots such as Pindi Point, Kashmir Point, and Patriata (New Murree). The chairlift at Patriata was one of the most exciting parts of the trip. From the top, the view of lush green mountains and clouds was simply amazing. Nature lovers will truly enjoy the calm and peaceful atmosphere of Murree.

Weather and Environment

The weather in Murree was cool and refreshing, especially in the evening. Light rain and fog added charm to the environment. The clean air and green surroundings made Murree a perfect place to relax and refresh the mind. Compared to city life, Murree offers peace and closeness to nature.

Food and Accommodation

Murree has many hotels and restaurants that offer comfortable stays and delicious food. We stayed in a hotel near Mall Road, which made traveling easy. Traditional Pakistani food along with fast food options were easily available. Hot tea in the cold weather felt especially enjoyable. 



Conclusion

Traveling to Murree was an unforgettable experience. The natural beauty, cool weather, friendly people, and peaceful environment make Murree a perfect travel destination. It is an ideal place for families, friends, and even solo travelers. I would highly recommend visiting Murree to anyone who wants to explore the beauty of Pakistan and take a break from busy city life.
